Second Graders went to see a production of Peter Pan at The Apollo Theater (2450 N. Lincoln).  Here is Brenda M's review of the show:

I liked the play of Peter Pan because it was really funny.  I like it because it showed kindness and happiness.  It also had a lot of music because it was a musical.  I think they can wear better costumes because they looked a little silly in those costumes.  Peter Pan looked really brave when he was fighting Hook and Mister Smee.  Wendy was brave, too, when she made the clock sound with us.  She was also very smart.  Hook was scared of the crocodile because the crocodile bit Hook's hand off.  This was all because of Peter Pan.  You should definitely see this show!
