From the Book to the Big Screen: Lights, Camera, Read! Grades 6-8
|
Students will read and study several books that have been made into movies. They will watch the movie version and explore the transformation of the book to the movie. Students will also learn basic film techniques and film a scene from a novel. |

Photo Journalism
Grades 5-8

Students will learn to take digital photographs that tell stories and capture memories. The final product will be a school yearbook. |

The Genius Club
Grades 6-8

in this program students will be pushed to learn and do more to meet their maximum potential. Students will play chess, investigate scientific, mathematical and social surroundings, and explore wrting and literature. Students will also be given opportunities to participate in academic competitions. |
